Happy World Snake Day!

Today marks “World Snake Day.” (Who knew there was one?)

The Comics Kingdom “Ask A Cartoonist” blog is celebrating by posting snake drawings and stories by King Features cartoonists. I contributed an infamous Parker family snake story to the blog. Cartoon Culture At The Library Of Congress

Hey Washington DC peeps, don’t miss a chance to see and hang out with some great King Features cartoonists and creators at the Library of Congress this Friday… Many NCS Reuben Awards Weekend attendees will be on hand as well, including Team Dustin, come meet and greet.

“Cartooning and Our Culture,” will take place Friday, May 22nd at 11A.M. in the Montpelier Room of the Library of Congress’s Madison Building.

Cartoonists At “The Billy”

As some of you know, last weekend I attended the exhibit opening and celebration of King Features’ 100th birthday at The Ohio State University’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum in Columbus, Ohio. Sadly, Steve couldn’t join in on the fun, but I had a terrific time hanging with a few dozen visiting cartoonist pals, gawking at the original cartoons on display, and receiving a backstage tour of “The Billy.”
